Faith That Moves Me
Faith That Moves Me
Suspended disbelief,
Mingle it with palpable relief,
A fresh breath of air so sweet
As I lay my life at the Master’s feet.
Thankful in ways I cannot express,
I purge myself of all that I have detest
And take in goodness from on high,
My God reigns in word and sign.
Sweet victory never tasted so swell,
I take back faith from the gates of hell,
Clasping the Saviour’s hand, I stand…
Lord, Your goodness surprised me again
When I should have expected, but didn’t,
You were there to amaze me again,
To bless me in ways that I could never have imagined;
It is such an awesome thing
To see You come through for me
And those that I love,
Simply by keeping Your word.
Thank You.
Suspended disbelief,
Thankful in ways I cannot express,
When I thought that hope was out of reach
Your mighty arm muscles You chose to flex.
Sweet victory never tasted so swell,
I take back faith from the gates of hell,
Clasping the Saviour’s hand, I stand,
Knowing full well she’s in Your plan.
Knowing full well, I stand and sing,
Raise hands and voice to God my King,
My faith is strong, my dreams secure,
Everything You touch is now for sure,
So, clasping the Saviour’s hand, I stand,
Knowing full well she’s in Your plan.
Thankfully, Lord, she’s in Your plan.
